Textile Electromechanical Magnet ZT-0951

Detailed Introduction I. Product Overview Textile machine electromagnet is an electromagnetic actuator specifically designed for high-speed, high-frequency, and continuous operation conditions of textile machinery. It utilizes the magnetic force generated by electromagnetic coils to drive the iron core or armature to perform linear reciprocating motion, directly completing actions such as weft selection, color selection, jacquard needle selection, weft yarn clamping, warp stop detection, tension adjustment, etc. It is the core control component of equipment such as rapier looms, air-jet looms, water-jet looms, shuttleless looms, circular looms, and flat knitting machines.

Unlike general industrial electromagnets, textile machine electromagnets face triple challenges: continuous operation at hundreds to thousands of cycles per minute, 24/7 uninterrupted operation, and exposure to flying fluff and oil mist in the workshop environment. Therefore, its requirements for structural design, heat dissipation, fatigue resistance, and response consistency are much higher than those of conventional products.
Our textile machine electromagnets cover a full range of products, including weft selection electromagnets, jacquard needle selection electromagnets, warp stop (warp stopper) electromagnets, weft yarn clamping electromagnets, tension control electromagnets, and heald frame lifting electromagnets. We support customization of installation dimensions, travel, suction force, and electrical parameters according to specific machine models, and are compatible with mainstream loom models both domestically and internationally.
II. Role in Textile Machinery The weft insertion speed of modern shuttleless looms has been increased to over 1000 rpm, leaving only a few milliseconds for the selection of a specific weft yarn. This action must be completed by an electromagnet, which needs to respond to control signals in an extremely short time, act accurately, and reset reliably. Any hesitation will directly result in defects on the fabric.
The specific actions undertaken include:
Action
effect
Consequences of failure
Weft selection / Color selection
Select the weft yarn that should be introduced according to the pattern requirements
Mis-weft, color block
Jacquard needle selection
Control the warp yarn to enhance the formation of fabric weave
Disorganized tissue, amenorrhea
Stop and inspect
Trigger a shutdown immediately upon cessation of menstruation
Widening of weaving defects, equipment damage
Weft yarn clamping
After weft insertion, clamp the yarn end to prevent rebound
Weft contraction, missing weft
tension control
Dynamically adjust warp/weft tension
Uneven density on the cloth surface
Comprehensive frame improvement
Drive the heald frame to complete the shedding action
Unclear articulation, skipped words
Because these actions directly determine the quality of the fabric, the electromagnet in the textile machine is called the "nerve endings" of the loom by the industry - it does not determine what the loom can weave, but it determines whether the weaving is accurate.
III. Operating Principle The basic operating principle of the textile machine electromagnet is consistent with that of a general electromagnet, but it has been specially designed for high-frequency operating conditions:
Receiving control signals - the main control electronic system of the loom sends out pulse signals at a specific spindle angle; coil excitation - current passes through the coil, establishing a magnetic field in the magnetic circuit; attraction action - the iron core (or armature) rapidly displaces under the action of electromagnetic force, overcoming the spring's repulsive force, driving the execution components (weft selection finger, needle selection plate, yarn gripper, stop motion rod, etc.) to act; power-off reset - after the signal ends, the coil is powered off, and the reset spring or other reset mechanisms return the iron core to its initial position, preparing for the next action.
The special design for the textile machine lies in:
Short stroke high frequency: The stroke is typically only 1 ~ 8 mm, but the required action time is controlled within 1 ~ 5 ms. To achieve this, a low-inertia lightweight iron core and optimized magnetic circuit design are employed. Rapid release: A specially designed demagnetization circuit and low remanence material are used to prevent the iron core from sticking and not returning to its original position after power is cut off. Thermal management: The coil utilizes high temperature-resistant enameled wire (H grade 180°C / C grade above 200°C), combined with thermal conductive potting, to ensure controllable temperature rise under continuous high-frequency operation. Consistency assurance: The suction force, stroke, and response time of products in the same batch have minimal dispersion, avoiding inconsistency among multiple sets of electromagnets on the loom.
